Join The Resistance.
The Resistance is not a movement against artificial intelligence. It is a refusal to stop thinking simply because our machines have become extraordinarily capable.
Not against AI
The people leading today's AI revolution deserve admiration for what they have built. We want better models, more capable agents, wider search spaces and systems able to process quantities of information no human could manage alone.
What we resist is the assumption that better machines automatically mean humans should disappear from the decision. Automation can be extraordinary without becoming the objective itself.
Humanity should not fear machines that think, but men and women who stop doing it.
The Human Clause
A Human Clause is the explicit decision to preserve human purpose, judgment and responsibility inside increasingly autonomous systems.
The machine can search, simulate, estimate probabilities and explore alternatives. The human must still be able to define what matters, which constraints are legitimate and which outcome is worth pursuing.

What we resist
Automation ≠ progress. Removing a person is not automatically an improvement.
Intelligence ≠ objective. A system can optimize brilliantly and still optimize the wrong thing.
Prediction ≠ responsibility. Estimating an outcome does not decide whether that outcome should be pursued.
What we want
Machines with more scale, speed and analytical power.
Humans with better evidence and a wider decision space.
Guardrails that remain explicit, testable and visible.
Responsibility that cannot be silently delegated to a model.
Why consumers still matter
Even an AGI would operate in a world of human customers, citizens, patients, employees and counterparties. They have preferences, context, trust, fairness expectations and changing objectives that do not disappear because the model becomes more capable.
A future that forgets the humans it was designed to serve is not a more advanced product. It is a category error.
Beat The Machine
DTRM Research Lab turns this thesis into falsifiable experiments. Beat The Machine is the first public battlefield: machine-scale market search and ranking are combined with human-defined rules, portfolio judgment and governed promotion gates, then compared against machine-led alternatives and benchmarks.
The objective is not to prove humans are computationally superior. They are not. The question is whether hybrid intelligence can outperform autonomy when the human still defines the game.
